Al Dhafra Golf Club is one of the last remaining sand golf courses in the UAE. The Al Dhafra Golf Club, a unique club in its own way, which is located in Ruwais, nearly 250km from Abu Dhabi, the capital of UAE. There on a peacefull spot, where the desert meets the see, you can find the golfcourse.
As the only golf course in Al Gharbia, the western region of Abu Dhabi Emirate, the Al Dhafra Golf Links is mainly sponsored by the neighbouring oil companies and by organised events sponsored by companies in the locality.
Visitors can see Sir Baniyas Island, the home to rare wildlife.
