Located not too far from the railway station, convenient for golfers coming from outside the town, Chorleywood Golf Club has enough tests and tricks at every nook and cranny of its course to excite and entice golfers of all levels of ability and from all over the region of Hertfordshire. It is, unusually for a course in this verdant region, laid out on part-wooded heathland and is, therefore, if for no other reason, well worth a visit. The course is a 9 hole Par 34.
Other attractive features of the course from a club golfers point of view are that it is kept is top notch condition throughout the year and has nine-holes with a total of eighteen tees allowing you to play a variety of golf to suit you.
Note that during the World War 2, the clubhouse was used as an emergency first aid post for the local ARP unit. In September 1940 nine high explosive and two incendiary bombs fell on the course
