The Mill River Club is a private, members-only club located on the north shore of Long Island’s “Gold Coast” in New York.
The Mill River Club is located in picturesque Upper Brookville, Long Island, in an estate of 126 acres, on which a beautiful Tudor mansion of forty seven rooms serves as a clubhouse. The design of the spectacular golf course was created by Gerald Roby, whose career includes years with famed golf course architect, William Mitchell. The property has provided to Roby the setting for a course with two very different front and back nine-hole settings. One side incorporates the meadowlands, undulating terrain, and the infinite variety of apple orchards, as the beautiful basis for a front nine. On the other hand, a back nine of specimen trees, challenging hills, and an exceptional golf experience. Former PGA Champion, Jim Turnesa was the first on-site golf professional.
While the course may be challenging, the pristine and unparalleled practice facilities enable you to prepare and improve your skills with grass-tee driving range, multiple-greens short game and putting areas.
