Moor Hall Golf Club is set in the heart of Sutton Coldfield on the north eastern outskirts of Birmingham. This central position makes access from the motorway system very simple.  Visitors are attracted from outside the Midlands and many return time and again to experience not only the attractions of the course but also to enjoy the friendly atmosphere and warm welcome that awaits in the clubhouse.

This mature parkland course was designed in 1932 by Messrs. Hawtree and Taylor, prominent golf course architects of the day. Well drained and beautifully maintained the course, with its tree lined fairways, is always in excellent condition. Carefully executed shots and tight control is necessary if a good score is to be achieved, especially over the closing holes, but higher handicap players are also guaranteed an enjoyable experience. The men’s course measures 6293 yards (SSS 70) and the ladies’ course is 5637 yards (SSS 73).

Most difficult hole is the 6th. A demanding par 4 of over 470 yards.  The tee shot should be hit between the big oak on the right and the fairway bunker on the left.  The second shot needs to be accurate to avoid a bunker down the right and also as the green entrance is extremely narrow and well guarded by bunkers on the right and the left.

The clubhouse has been extensively refurbished offering even better facilities than before.

Visitors are more than welcome Monday to Friday at Moor Hall Golf Club, and availability can be checked with the Professional.
