Golf in Andalusia : Andalusia is one of Europe’s foremost golfing destinations, with over 100 courses. The climate, with guaranteed warm temperatures all year round, not to mention endless hours of sunshine, coupled with spectacularly located courses, often with mountain or sea views, makes this region a hugely popular choice for golfers from all over the world. Andalusia is also home to the best golf courses in Spain, such as Real Club Valderrama, Finca Cortesin, Club de Golf La Reserva - Sotogrande, Marbella Club Golf Resort and Real Club de Golf Las Brisas. Most Andalucian golf clubs require a handicap level of 28 for men and 36 for women, but very often this is not enforced. When visiting Andalusia for a golf holiday, don't forget to visit the province of Almeria, Huelva, Granada or Sevilla. The inland provinces of Jaen and Córdoba offer less golf courses and are less popular as a golf destination.
