Chatsworth golf club is situated in the heart of the Chatsworth estate and has nine holes with eighteen tees. The course is 5241 yards long from the mens tees. Standard Par for the course is 68 and with narrow fairways, small greens and fearsome rough, the course is a test for any standard of golfer.
Despite not having any bunkers (a throwback to the days when Jacobs sheep used to roam the fairways) the course is challenging but fair for any golfer, with small greens, tight fairways and penal rough.
The views over the village of Edensor and the House and grounds have to be seen to be believed and make the perfect setting for a great round of golf.
It is a private, members-only club, for members and estate workers only. It is also worth noting that, due to its location, on a private estate, there is no clubhouse, but an application for membership can submitted to the club secretary.
