Eagle Vale Golf Club is a public golf course with a country club setting. This scenic championship course is in immaculate condition and is designed for all levels of play. The course is always open to the public and is located within minutes of downtown Rochester.
Located five minutes away from the center of Fairport and eight minutes from Perinton, the Eagle Vale Golf Club can be easily reached in about a half an hour via the interstate 490 E from the next larger city Rochester. In 1987, it opened an 18-hole course with par 71 with Neil Hirsch being responsible for its design.
The 6,205-meter-long course has partially very long, partially very short fairways populated by trees, partially huge greens, some doglegs, many bunkers and water hazards. The latter appear as lakes and streams at the holes 1, 6, 9, 11, 14, 15 and 16 and have to be overplayed by the golf players at hole 11, 15 and 16. Despite some athletic and technical challenges, the championship course at the Eagle Vale Golf Club can be easily mastered by golf beginners, as well as experienced players.
In the practicing area of the club, golf players come across an illuminated driving range with 33 tees (some of them on grass), one large putting green, as well as a short game area with a chipping and pitching area including practice bunkers.
