The Eaton Canyon Golf Course ironically was originally planned as an eighteen-hole facility. Ultimately the nine-hole facility designed by Billy Bell Jr. opened in 1962. Opening day ceremonies included a golf outing in which dignitaries and local golf professionals, including 1961 PGA Champion, Jerry Barber participated.
The course is located in the peaceful scenic San Gabriel Foothills. Open 365 days a year from dawn until dusk and reservations are available up to seven days in advance for a single tee time. Group or tournament reservations are available up to twenty four months in advance. The challenging nine-hole facilities offer a terrific option to an eighteen hole round of golf when pressed for time, 9 in half the time!
Eaton Canyon Golf is located 20 minutes north of downtown Los Angeles with easy access from the 210 freeway, the course are located just 3 miles apart in the beautiful communities of Altadena and Pasadena.
The golf Club offers full service golf shops, including club repair and professional golf instruction for all ages and levels of ability. Practice facilities include driving range with real grass tees year round, chipping green, putting green and practice bunker. The 10th Hole Bar & Grill serves breakfast and lunch daily and remains open until dark serving your favourite beverages.
