Set along the south shore of beautiful Lake Tahoe (Nevada), Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course is a 18-hole public golf course that opened in 1968.
Designed by George Fazio, Edgewood is rated by Golf Digest Magazine as one of “America’s Top Golf Courses.” Challenging yet fair, this course offers a choice of four sets of tees, ranging in length from 5567 yards to a demanding 7555, providing a suitable test for golfers of all skill levels.
The 16th is an amazing par 5 of 564 yards (from the tips) that sweeps gently downhill between the tall pines that line the tight fairway to an Oceanside green guarded by a phalanx of bunkers. The 16th at Edgewood must rank as one of the most picturesque holes in golf.
The Verdict: nothing negative to say about Edgewood, wonderful golf course and amazing club house.
Golf course is open from May to October.
