The Golf Club Limpachtal was designed by golf course architect John Chilver-Stainer. He knows how to develop facilities that are harmoniously integrated into the landscape, offering a varied play and reminding their designer’s Scottish heritage.
The Limpachtal Golf Course lengths 6.2 kilometers long and water comes into play on 14 holes. The 11th hole is not less than 666 meters (the longest in Europe) and is the only Par-6 in Switzerland.
The 18 fairways are varied and winding through the vast plain of Limpachtals. Artificial lakes and streams are the hazards and re-planted ancient trees are cleverly integrated into the game.
The short hitters like the long ones will enjoy this course, especially when the wind blows across the plain and make the trajectory of the ball unpredictable.
