Golf de Bagnoles de l’Orne,
is a beautiful 9 hole nestled in the heart of the Andaine Forest, just outside the town.
This technical and little hilly course is furrowed with water hazards, suitable for all levels and open all year.
The golf has a driving range with 10 positions including 4 covered ones, a putting green and a practice bunker.
Built in 1927 by Harold J. Becker, Bagnoles de l’Orne golf was seen as an additional equipment to spas, hotels and the casino.
Today, even if it continues to be considered as a real attraction for many visiting tourists and spa guests, the sports and family golf dominates in the clearing of the “Gue aux biches ” that crosses a river often involved along the fairways.
Flat, very enjoyable to play all year, it is nevertheless not easy to score. The SSS is 71.2… for a Par-66! Normal if you consider that the river’s challenges, on seven holes, have to be added to many out of bounds and to the fact that there is no Par-5 allowing to breathe.
