The golf was created thanks to the will of Robert and Gilles Charmat in the early 80’s. On the site, are the remains of a partly Louis XIII castle, rebuilt in the eighteenth century for the General Treasurer of Poland. During the revolution, the owner, Jean-Pierre de Saint Cyr was guillotined in Paris in December 31, 1793 and the castle, odd and ransacked, was sold as national property.
Surrounded by vineyards and overlooking some of the plain of the Allier River, the nine-hole course, constantly evolving through the work of the Association of Briailles Golf, presents a variety of situations. Gilles Charmat, the club’s professional, will make you start and progress at all levels. To access to the course you will have to show your license.
