Golf de la Commanderie
Golf de la Commanderie – France

In this calm haven of greenery you can measure yourself against this technical golf course where precision trumps power. In 1964 Charles Piat initiated the creation of this course, which inherited the 9 old greens of the Golf de Lyon. The “small”, elevated and well-defended greens make scoring on our golf course difficult. Bogey golfers will still find the course very enjoyable though.

The new layout was inaugurated in 2009, transforming the course into a par 72. The 6 new holes, with a more modern design and bigger greens, give it a greater diversity. The ‘Amen Corner’ (holes 13 through 16) might somewhat lessen the number of balls you are carrying, but will undoubtedly make for a memorable moment thanks to its majestic surroundings. And the most difficult hole on the course is inside the Amen Corner. This is the hole 14th. A difficult Par 3 Hcp 1 with water hazard. You gave to fly over the water to hite the green in 1.
