Nested in the middle of Champagne Crayeuse, the Golf de la Grande Romanie, established in 1987, in a setting that is reminiscent of Scottish links, is located near the village of Courtisols, 15 minutes from Chalons in Champagne.
This course, with limestone basement, is playable all year and accessible to all levels. Its 18 holes, where sham, elevated greens, wide fairways and numerous bunkers are mixing, are attractive for their technical side and sceneries. This course is approved for 7 194 yards from the white tees, making it one of the longest in France. The playability of this links remains a real golf challenge.
If the wind is coming into the game, do not stray too far outside the fairways. Its greens will also call for all your vigilance.
