Created in 1956, Golf de Mazamet La Barouge is the 3rd oldest golf course in South West France. The club is recognized as one of the most beautiful golf courses in Midi-Pyrénées. Located at the foot of the Black Mountain, crossed by the creek Issalés, it seduces with its beautifully wooded landscape.
Golf de Mazamet La Barouge is a true delight for the eyes with its undulating fairways and unspoilt nature, where all species are present and beautifully arranged. The look is often striking when it offers, as a background, the dark slopes of the Montagne Noire.
The golf de Mazamet la Barouge is an 18-hole golf course. His main course, “Mazamet” is a 70 of 5596 meters. Technically, the course is very enjoyable and a challenge which will delight golfers of all categories (which proves intelligent design): slightly hilly, but not too “Sports”, the fairways require accurate drives for the hitters. The numerous dog-legs require strategic thinking, which adds to the pleasure of the course.
