Golf de Saumane was designed in 1989 by Jean Garaialde taking inspiration from the plot of the Canal de Carpentras and the undulating landscape of rocky cliffs and groves.
The distance of the course is 6 670 yards from the white tees with 38 strategically placed bunkers.
The vegetation reflects the Provence with its pine trees, olive and laurel, roses, lavender and rosemary groves.
The site is surrounded by the Luberon Mountains, Vaucluse mountains and in the distance, the pre-Alps with great views on lakes and fountains.
