The Golf de Valcros
is a golf course inaugurated in 1964 located in the municipality of La Londe-les-Maures in the Var.
This 18-hole, 5270-meter course (par 70) welcomes golfers at the bottom of a valley belonging to the Massif des Maures in the middle of cork oaks, olive trees and oleanders. Exposed southeast, sheltered from the wind and along a river, the narrow and wooded course is very characteristic. The course requires technical and precision from experienced players who will always find this golf to meet their requirements.
Every year during the month of August the Grand Prix de Valcros welcomes for four days a large number of golf enthusiasts. The architect of the course is the Scottish Fred William Hawtree. In 2007, the Golf de Valcros hosted the Lexus Golf Cup which has become one of the most popular competitions for golf enthusiasts in France.
