Villacoublay Club, Golf Club of the Air Force Base, is a club affiliated with the FFG, French Golf Federation, and FCSAD, Federation of Defense Sport and Art Clubs.
The club is only accessible to players belonging to military personnel of the Air Force and players who meet the eligibility criteria defined by the rules.
Golf activity on the air base began in 1976, developped gradually, leading to the opening an 18-hole course in 1988. The course was designed by Hubert Chesneau who also designed the Golf National course.
Although almost flat, with its technical nature, it fully justifies the slope that has been assigned, prudence and strategy are key factors to keep ones handicap. Its layout and its difficulties allow everyone to express themselves from an almost beginner to a champion.
The mot difficult hole is certainly the 10th with a really narrow fairway.
