Less than 40 miles (60 km) from the gates of Paris, on the threshold of Normandy and only a few miles from the birthplace of the Impressionists, Giverny, the 27-hole Golf de Villarceaux is to be found in the nature reserve of the Parc Naturel du Vexin, in the seclusion of the grounds of Château du Couvent.
2 golf courses : one 18 hole and a 9 hole
Par 72 of 6115m, it is quite hilly and very varied with a relatively high slope (131 from the white tees and 123 from men’s yellow ones, 125 from blue ones and 120 from ladies’ red ones). No hole is like another, and little places are flat, so it’s a fairly technical course that awaits you. The sometimes turbulent greens are very well maintained and well defended on some holes (water 2 Par-3 on the Front nine).
The other course is a 9 hole Pitch & Putt. Perfect for beginners or to improve your short game.
