20 km west of Lens, 10 km from Bethune, the Public Golf d’Olhain is one of the facilities of the leisure resort of the same name.
Quite short (2611 metres for a par 35), the course is, however, technically demanding. Indeed, if the Olhain Golf has only nine holes, two of them can not be so easily forgotten by a golfer used to the flat country.
Designed in 1984 by Robert Berthet the Olhain Golf offers a hilly course in the hills of Artois, on the edge of the forest with the added bonus, a beautiful view of the castle. Spread over 33 acres, this golf course primarily promotes the democratization of the sport. But what you’ll note is the atmosphere and the philosophy of the place: the neighbourhood of the leisure resort definitely brings a very nice holiday feeling.
A practice with 20 positions including 6 covered ones completes the golf course.
