The history of La Bruyere Golf Club is also that of the Theys family , who chose in 1987 to convert part of their 150-acre farm into a golf course.
Golf La Bruyere takes the best possible advantage of the sparsely wooded and hills surrounding the farm, and appeals to beginners and experienced golfers alike. Golfers enjoy this landscape which is so typical of the Walloon Brabant region.
The course features broad fairways that require the golfer to play long and straight before tackling superb greens well-guarded by many strategic bunkers. However, when the wind blows over this flat course, which at first does not seem to pose any major difficulties, play takes on a completely different dimension with some surprises in store.
The golf course itself has a multitude of hazards just waiting to ensnare the unwary golfer although on the face of it looks quite benign. Looks can be deceptive so play the course tactically and thoughtfully and you will be rewarded.
Visitors also appreciate the family atmosphere at La Bruyere, which brings them back again and again.
Facilities at Golf La Bruyere include: Driving range, pro-shop, putting green, chipping green, clubhouse.
