King’s Walk Golf offers classic golf course design in a natural prairie setting. The 18 hole course was designed by the King of Golf, Arnold Palmer.
King’s Walk recreates the same atmosphere that is found at the great links courses of Scotland and Ireland. Over 650,000 cubic yards of originally flat earth were excavated to allow the course to roll and flow around hundreds of individual mounds, deep ravines, steep ridges, and two large lakes. Our large bent grass greens are protected and framed by beautifully sculpted bunkers, mounds, and collection areas. Hardwood trees border the course along with clusters of pines on the interior hills. Tall fescue grasses add to the links style which completes this Arnold Palmer Signature Golf Course.
The design stretches over 7,200 yards from the back tees, however, it plays 5,400 yards from the front tees. Four sets of tees allow golfers of all abilities an opportunity to enjoy this unique golf experience. Whether you are an elite player or casual golfer, each round at King’s Walk promises to be an exceptional one.
