The Larimore Golf Course was founded in 1959 and continues to be one of the best groomed 9-hole courses in North Dakota. With rolling hills, and a creek down in the bottom, it makes for a picturesque setting. Usually not too busy, which makes for a relaxing time. Carts are available, and the course always seems to be in great condition.
Signature holes that really make the course are the par 3s with dramatic elevated tee boxes. Golfers who are concerned with scoring may be tripped up by a few greens that have a lot of slope, especially
Larimore Golf Club has a fun par 36, 9-hole golf course located near Larimore Dam and Recreation Area just west of Grand Forks. The clubhouse is not fancy or pretentious, however it is functional.
