Lipica Golf Course is situated in a typical karst landscape close to the oldest stud farm in Europe. Karst natural features give the course a unique beauty and the Mediterranean climate allows you to play golf all year round. The course has nine holes and a practise area. The full length of the course is 3163 metres and the par is 37.
Lipica Golf Course was built in 1989 in accordance with the designs of Donald Harradine, a worldwide known designer of golf courses. Shade-giving trees, including decade-old lime and oak trees, are characteristic for the course. Guests are always welcome at the Golf Club Lipica after registering.
It attracts Slovene golfers and many foreigner golfers, particularly from the neighbouring Italy, Croatia, Germany and Austria.
It boasts of picturesque fairways and practice range where the Academy of Golf without Borders is located.
Note that the town of Lipica is known worldwide for its Lipizzaner studs.
