Located in the gardens of the Palmeraie of Marrakech, the PalmGolf Marrakech Palmeraie is at the heart of an oasis of tranquility and freshness. The location is ideal for business stays or leisure. The main historical sites are located 10 km from the hotel. The Marrakech Menara Airport is 15km from the hotel which is about 20 minutes by car.
The American architect Robert Trent Jones Sr. designed the PalmGolf Marrakech Palmeraie, for which he presented his expertise for the creation of a true championship course. In this unique setting, nestled in the lush Palmeraie and with the backdrop of the snow-capped peaks of the Atlas Mountains, the 27 hole golf course offers the best for swing enthusiasts. Both noteworthy and accessible, the course ensures the more experienced players a challenging and exciting test, while beginners can very easily take their first steps in the discipline.
Holes 1-9 and holes 10-18 were formed as two returning loops and their fairways weave around several large ponds on a site that’s pretty flat throughout. As it’s a resort course, golfers will find the greens here are not as heavily bunkered as those found on many RTJ designs and their soft contours can help golfers post a decent score with a little care.
Holes 19-27 on the last layout are, if anything, more forgiving than the holes on the original nines so the main challenge comes from the well-bunkered, often raised, greensites on this circuit.
After your game you can have a drink or some food at the clubhouse. The clubhouse shaped like a Moroccan Riad features 11 intimate rooms. The refuge of peace and tranquility decorated in a style combining traditional Moroccan art and modern comfort is an invitation to relax. A paradise for lovers of the little white ball nestled in the heart of the fairways and greens of the PalmGolf Marrakech Palmeraie.
PalmGolf Marrakech Palmeraie is a really good golf in Marrakech.
