The Pelham Country Club is a family oriented Club with first rate recreational, social and dining facilities. Located only fifteen miles from Manhattan in the picturesque Village of Pelham Manor in the New York State.
In the summer of 1921 an influential member named Mont Rogers formed a company to buy the land and hired noted golf architect, Devereux Emmet, to create a championship golf course. Cut from virgin woodland, stretching around and over rolling, low-lying hills, Pelham’s golf course opens up varying vistas of great beauty. The natural beauty of its setting is comparable only to an old English park, and it is difficult to believe its proximity to New York City.
The golf course is known in the Metropolitan golf community for its condition and spectacular green complexes. The club has added a world class short game area (19th Hole) just east of the 1st tee. It was designed by architect Mike Devries, who is currently working with the club on a master plan for the golf course.
