Seletar Country Club

Seletar country club

Seletar Country Club’s origins go back to a 9-hole golf course that was originally built for the British Royal Air Force in 1930. When the British Forces withdrew from Singapore in 1971, the golf course was handed over to the then National Sports Promotion Board (NSPB) who took over the running of the course. The NSPB then renamed it as Seletar Country Club and appointed a committee to run it as a members’ club. In 1995, Seletar Country Club moved just over 1 km west to its present premises and a new 18-hole layout next to the Lower Seletar Reservoir.

Designed by eminent course architect Chris Pitman, Seletar Country Club’s immaculately groomed 18-hole gem par 72 undulating at 6,381 metres goes well against the backdrop of the Lower Seletar Reservoir and verdant jungle canopy.
