The Muttontown Club is a private member-owned country club, available exclusively to members and their guests. The Alfred Tull-design, 18-hole golf course stretches across 6,500+ yards with two putting greens, a double-sided driving range, and a chipping green with a short range area.
“Sumptuous” is the only way to describe the Muttontown Club, not far from the Long Island Expressway on Northern Boulevard in East Norwich, Long Island. From tee to green, the Muttontown Club is a “play it as you see it” course. While there are dog-legs (both left and right), never are you faced with a truly blind shot. While the course has some hilly moments, it is a course that even your out of shape companion can walk — with one of their highly qualified caddies on your bag. The sloped fairways and changing elevations give you a challenging lie at best. The straight hitter or conservative player will manage this course very well. The longer hitter or more daring player will enjoy the rewards of navigating the course obstacles.
