Inaugurated in June 1991 on an estate covering over 110 hectares, the 4 9-hole courses of the Golf de Courson are ranked among the 1,000 most beautiful in the world by Rolex.
The architect Robert von Hagge (consultant for the creation of the National golf course), has designed many of the most beautiful golf courses in the United States and in Europe. At Courson he has created his most successful course for competitions.
The way in which Von Hagge has profoundly changed the nature of the terrain, moving huge quantities of earth, is remarkable. Eight ponds of varying sizes come into play on fourteen of the 36 holes of this vast complex.
The course hosted the qualifying round of the Open de France for 12 years, thus earning its place in the highly distinguished ranking of the most beautiful golf courses in Europe.
Note that during the low season UGOLF : Golf de Courson open at 8AM and close at 6AM
