Golf de Digne les Bains consists in two courses: a compact course of six holes and a 18-hole course.
It is technically challenging and offers magnificent views on the mountains, in the midle of lavender fields. Concerning sport, the modern layout of the 18-hole course, designed by Robert Berthet, has avoided the pitfalls of traditional mountain golf courses. In Digne, there is no impossible slope, or unplayable lies sometimes encountered on golf courses built on a mountainside. The player will find here a varied golf course accessible to all. Although the water hazards of the back-9 represent problems, the course is wide open throughout, except for several dogs-legs (holes #3, 16 and 18). In summer, the tranquility of the place is one of the major attractions of the course. Not to mention the typical scenery of Haute Provence.
