Uttoxeter Golf Club’s golf course started as a nine-holer in 1970 but it was decided to extend it to a full 18-hole layout in February 1986.
Uttoxeter Golf Club is undoubtebly one of the country’s best kept secrets.
With its small greens and tight lines, the course is a fine test of golf for the low handicapper whilst providing the higher handicapped player with a variety of options at each hole.
Excellent putting surfaces, manicured fairways, uniform rough and extensive views across the Dove Valley to the rolling hills of Staffordshire and Derbyshire all collude to intensify the sheer joy of just being there.
